Inspiração: Festa Dia de los Muertos

🇵🇹 Cá por casa, gostamos de aproveitar momentos do calendário como pretexto para juntar os amigos em ambiente festivo.
O Halloween costuma ser o momento alto do ano para o fazermos mas, este ano, decidimos fugir um bocadinho ao que é habitual – vamos avançar um dia no calendário e assinalar o Dia de los Muertos.
A ideia é aproveitar, tanto quanto possível, tudo o que já tenho do Halloween – decoração, roupa, etc. – e adaptar para este tema. O planeta e a carteira agradecem!
Já tenho algumas ideias alinhadas mas, antes de pôr mãos à obra, nada como alimentar a inspiração e a criatividade, o que implica algum scroll pelo melhor lugar digital para o fazer: o Pinterest, claro.

Abaixo partilho algumas das imagens que, mais diretamente, vão inspirar os arts & crafts temáticos que vou fazer nos próximos dias.
Tenho uma bandolete do Halloween, totalmente preta, com morcegos, que quero adaptar para algo inspirado nestas imagens.
A decoração da casa também vai envolver a reutilização de alguns materiais semelhantes aos da imagem acima. Temos várias flores e decorações em papel, cor de laranja e pretas, a que vamos juntar outras cores. Já comecei a fazer algumas flores em papel. Quem me acompanha pelo Instagram já teve direito a espreitar 🙂

As flores que já comecei a fazer para a minha bandolete, vão também servir para adornar uma caveira que já foi usada antes, em festas de Halloween.

🇬🇧 Here at home, we like to use calendar moments as an excuse to gather friends in a festive atmosphere.
Halloween is usually the highlight of the year for this, but this year, we decided to deviate a bit from the norm—we’re moving the calendar forward a day and marking Dia de los Muertos.
The idea is to make the most of everything I already have for Halloween—decorations, costumes, etc.—and adapt it to this theme. The planet and the wallet will thank me for that!
I already have some ideas lined up, but before getting started, there’s nothing like fueling inspiration and creativity, which involves some scrolling through the best digital place for that: Pinterest, of course.

I have a Halloween headband, all black, with bats, that I want to adapt into something inspired by these images, with all the colorful flowers.
The home decor will also involve reusing some materials similar to those in the image above. We have several orange and black paper flowers and decorations, which we’ll add other colors to.
I’ve already started making some additional paper flowers. Those who follow me on Instagram have already seen them.
The flowers I’ve already started making for my headband will also be used to decorate a skull that has been used before at Halloween parties.
